Topics of interest
The topics of interest for the workshop include, but are not limited to, the following:
Failures in HRI and HRC, including:
Techniques for robot execution monitoring, avoidance, and recovery
Robot verification and/or testing approaches that consider failure scenarios
Approaches for preventing and handling failure propagation
Datasets and tools on how to study failures in HRI (such as augmented reality, virtual reality, extended reality)
Long-term studies on failures
Role of human factors in HRI and HRC failures, including:
Human perception of robot failures
Failures with humans in the loop
Trust repair after failures have occurred
Role of failure explainability, including:
Role of LLMs in the ability to explain, correct, and alleviate errors
Causal learning for failure understanding
Submission guidelines
Submissions to the workshop can be up to 4 pages long (+n pages for references and an appendix) using the IEEE RAS conference template.
Submissions describing work in progress that authors would like to discuss with the workshop participants are particularly encouraged and welcome.
The workshop does not have official proceedings, but the submitted papers will be posted on the workshop website if the authors agree.
